InfraRentals role as a comprehensive steel materials supplier is shown by this project in Brunsbüttel, Germany. Here we supplied road plates, sheet piles, and our patented bracing system.
The road plates covered approx. 44,535 m² and are made of steel and composite materials. We delivered the road plates in phases over a total of 8 weeks, tailored to the project’s progress and specific needs.
Besides the road plates, we rented out 920 tons of hot-rolled sheet piles to create six building pits at the jobs site. By renting our sheet piles instead of buying them we helped our customer save on the projects total budget and achieve short lead times. The sheet piles, with a steel grade of S270GP, ranged from 11.75m to 16m in length.
The excavation pits were secured prior to excavation using our unique, patented mechanical modular bracing system. Customized systems ensure the required safety with our B400 and B500 bracing elements, as well as the S1000 and S2000 struts.
